The Bosan vineyard
The Bosan vineyard lies in the heart of the Valpolicella, in the territory of Corrubbio di Negarine (San Pietro in Cariano). After a ten-year experimentation this vineyard has been selected for the
production of the Amarone Bosan, our top wine. The soil is mainly silt, clayey, with some stretch chalky-alluvial. The surface of 10 hectars is planted with 80% Corvina and 20% Rondinella with a “Pergola
Veronese” system having density of 3300 plants per hectar. The climate is normally cool and well ventilated and this avoid dangerous stagnation always dangerous for the grapes. These characteristic allowed a
favourable maturation of the grapes, making themselves expecially appropriated for the harvest and the following withering.
